"Such kind and helpful volunteers"
I had a really good experience with Run Ottawa, a big part of that was the volunteers. My sister and I had a few random questions, and they were so friendly and patient with us. They pointed us in the right direction, helped keep everything moving, and somehow stayed calm even when it got busy. You could really tell they cared about everyone having a good experience. Big thanks to them!

"Registration was kind of a hassle"
Tried signing up and it was just... annoying. Filled out the forms, then they froze. Twice. Had to backtrack and redo stuff, which got old fast. And then after finally getting through it, the confirmation took forever to show up. Not the worst thing ever, but definitely more frustrating than it needed to be.

"Updates were a bit too vague"
I did eventually get a reply from Run Ottawa, and the information was helpful once it came through. It just took longer than I expected, and before race day the updates felt vague, like a lot of “more details coming soon” without much to actually go on. It wasn’t a terrible experience, but clearer communication would have made things a lot less frustrating.

Race day was really well organized overall, everything was easy to find, the start times were clear, and the volunteers seemed to know exactly what they were doing. I had a stress-free morning, which I appreciated. I guess I was just a bit disappointed because I expected the atmosphere to feel a little more exciting, but it was still a fun experience

"Such a fun race day"
Ran one of their Ottawa events the vibe was great. Cheers everywhere. Music going. Random friendly people all around, which made it feel really welcoming. It was organized too, but not stiff or stressful. Still fun. Still relaxed. I’d definitely sign up again.

"Had a great time out there"
I ran the course last weekend and had a really good time. The route was easy to follow, which made it nice to just settle in and enjoy the run, and there were some great views along the way. The volunteers were awesome too, super friendly and helpful whenever you needed anything. There were a couple of spots where it got a little crowded, but it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, it was a fun event and I’d definitely sign up again
